Your
enrollment -
First, YOU enroll in a program. This is often accomplished by
you signing up on a web site. Often you had to pay money to
join. If you did not, you will usually be asked for money at
some stage in the program. (That's how people in the program
get their money, through the money of new people signing up,
normally buying products and services offered by the program.)
Your
Own Web Site - After you have enrolled, you are normally
given your "own" Internet web site (often with your
own name and E-mail address on it), so that when someone goes
there, and they sign up, they will be put in your so-called
downline or sales team. Your downline is the name of the commission
structure for the people signing up after you, which you enroll
for your home business.
You
are normally given your own URL to use in E-mails and other
advertising to allow people to go to your web site easily
by just clicking on the URL link.
This
form of advertising is all set up for you, so that you can
easily get people to sign up in your downline. Most programs
will require you to enroll other people, but it is normally
quite EASY, given the power of the Internet. Some programs
will even automatically build your downline, without you having
to do anything. This may sound interesting, but these programs
normally don't pay as much per sign-up - and you found the
sign-ups, so you should be WELL REWARDED!
Enrollment
of new members - Although the sales of products and services
is the main goal of the program, to make the most money, you
should also try to enroll other people who will also sell
the products and services of the program(s) you joined. There
are many ways to do this, depending on the type of program.
Normally your sponsor (who found you and enrolled you) will
provide you with methods, which have already been successful,
so that you do not need to try out new things on your own
- you can normally start making money right away. See the
web page on prospecting methods
for more information about prospecting techniques.
Member
Area of Web Site - Sometimes there is a place in the administative
part of the web site of your program, which lets you see the
structure and contact information of the people under you
in your downline, for example, up to 10 levels. For some programs,
this could mean that you are the future owner of commissions
generated by hundreds of people in your downline - this is
called residual income.
Payment
Methods - Payments from your downline members are often
received through such systems below, depending on whether
the program supports these on its web site. They are normally
absolutely free for the person making the payment. The charges
occur when you accept money from someone, but they are minimal.
Don't be without the proper pay system. Your web site visitor
does not want to take the time to coordinate this with you.
-
PayPal - Probably the most widely used
pay system (other than credit cards) in the Internet today.
If you don't have one, you NEED one - get one here.
-
SafePay - This system is good for most everyone,
even many international. You do NOT have to own a credit card
to be verified and accept money from other SafePay users.
If you don't have a SafePay Account, get one here.
-
E-Gold - This payment processor is needed if you want to participate in the more fast-moving business opportunities, on-line casinos and other higher risk adventures. Eventually, you will run across one you really want to join, and you won't have the money available - so if you don't have an account yet, get one here.
- Liberty Reserve - Similar situation as E-Gold, mentioned above - so if you don't have an account yet, get one here.
Other
programs pay only with check, so you are often waiting for
your next check - through snail mail; however, you can usually
see how much money is accumulating up until that time, by
looking on the program's administrative web site.
Discontinued
Payment Processors
-
IntGold - Under investigation is the word
on the web.
-
StormPay - Used to be great, but has decided
to no longer support money transactions.
